In a five year period, one practice experienced a hostile takeover of their singular hospital contract, a major data loss, a temporary revocation of an MQSA certificate, a divorce from a joint-venture partnership, and a ransomware attack. In spite of these challenges, the organization remains a robust and growing practice, doubling its radiologist pool, expanding hospital contracts, and quadrupling the number of imaging centers in their area. This session will delve into the lessons learned in crisis and change management, emphasizing the importance of effective leadership, diversification strategies, and staff engagement during tumultuous times. It concludes by highlighting the resilience and adaptability that can be achieved by navigating crises and change with strategic planning and a supportive organizational culture.
